3 beautiful patterns that I tatted

In this post, I wanna share the patterns the I tatted in the last days.

First, the black heart that you can see at the banner. It is from the publication called “Star Book For The Home”, from the Antique Pattern Library collection.

If you are a tatter and don’t yet know this website, here’s a great new: it has several publications (some of them are over 100 years old) with tatting patterns. And you can read them for free.

The pattern is actually for a tablerunner (the magazine calls it a scarf, in 1942), but I decided to stop halfway through when I realized that I had a beautiful gothic heart in my hands. If you want to try it too, this is the direct link to the PDF:

You will find the pattern on page 11.

The second pattern that I wanna talk about is this flower right up here. As you can see, it is made using a piece of satin (in addition to the cotton thread).

I saw this pattern on Instagram. It is from a tatter called Huisil (her user name is kimi691059). She made a tutorial and hosted it on Youtube:

Well, the third and final pattern I’m going to discuss is this bicolor flower. Love at first sight. Do you remember my last post, where I made a list of several tatting ebooks that you can read for free through Kindle Unlimited? So, this pattern is from the ebook called “The Basics of How to Knit Easy Tatting Lace” (Japanese Edition)”. Its ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B09L4GKBX9 :

I thought this pattern has a celtic inspiration. However, you don’t need a celtic shuttle to maked it. And it is easier than it looks.

And that’s it.

A great week for you, and happy tatting.
